What we do.

CellCycle is a family-run charity that supports our charity poartners the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Dear Jack Foundation (DJF) by utilizing individual donors (like you) as well as fitness communities to raise awareness and money for patients with blood cancer. Through our website we feature patient centered stories, community events and opportunities that make a difference for patients with blood cancer.

How we do it.

Our annual campaign begins in June where supporters may donate on our website at anytime as well as join us and donate at any of our community rides or fitness events. Throughout our campaign our website will be updated with guest blogs, events and our fundraising progress. In September, individuals may also follow and donate during my 5-day / 310 mile bike ride across Switzerland to raise awareness for blood cancer. Photos and videos will be available on our social media while donors will receive a passcode to access 'donor exclusive' content on our blog. The campaign ends September 28th at the annual Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) 'Light The Night' event where all donations will be made to LLS. Donations received after September 28th 2017  will be made to our 2018 partner, the Dear Jack Foundation (DJF). CellCycle is a Colorado non-profit corporation and is a 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt organization. Unlike many charities, we keep none of your money. 100% of your donations are made to our chairty partners and 100% of your donations are tax deductible. In short, your donation is made entirely to the individuals who need it the most.

Why we do it.

As a medical doctor specializing in the diagnosis of blood cancer, I am no stranger to blood cancer. However, it was not until my 6 year-old niece was diagnosed with a childhood leukemia that I founded CellCycle. While the color red would be a sensible choice for a blood cancer charity, we choose pink in honor of Etta. Since our begining, CellCycle has grown to share the stories of many other individuals living and thriving after a diagnosis of blood cancer. The work of CellCycle is dedicated to blood cancer patients and survivors as well as their families and friends by supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

"We are the other pink cancer charity. For blood cancer survivors, we are not just on your team. We are your team."

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the foremost charity improving patient access to affordable and cutting-edge treatment, shaping healthcare policy and improving advocacy for patients with blood cancer. LLS's goal of Making Someday Today is becoming a reality thanks to the many supporters of CellCycle. LLS directly funds scientific research to improve the lives of patients diagnosed with blood cancer including leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.

CellCycle has come to understand LLS as an ambitious charity with programs that include policy, scientific research and direct patient grants and these are the reasons we choose to support LLS in our annual campaigns.

The Dear Jack Foundation (DJF)

The Dear Jack Foiundation (DJF) supports initiatives and provides programs in order to promote positive health outcomes for adolescents and young adults (AYA) ages 15-39 from the moment they are diagnosed with a blood cacner through their survivorship.

CellCycle has researched DJF and knows this organization well. We belive their mission in the young adult and adolscent community to be an important one and hope you will help us support the good people at DJF.
